1. Don't spam in this topic or for this topic. [on HP]
2. Don't curse all of the time, I know you have a bigger vocabulary than that.
3. OOC is to be used in the OOC thread ONLY. That's why it's there.
4. You MUST post twice a week. If you go more than a week, I'll warn you. Two weeks, and you'll be deleted, if you haven't told me you'll be away.
5. No god-modding. Ex: 'she walked into the room, and immediately all of the boys stared.' I think the boys should be allowed to decide for themselves if they stare, [don't you: agree?]
6. No killing other characters without their permission.
7. Plot suggestions are much welcome, but don't take action with major twists without my approval.
8. KEEP TO THE TIME ERA. No guns, no Converse shoes...
9. Names should be different - no Jessicas or Natashas. Names likes Madeline or Bernadette are the most normal you can use. If out of ideas, add a few letters, like I made Joseph into Jhosephe. Natasha into Nhatashe. Dannon into Dhannonn. Stuff like that, as a minimum. Ask me for ideas, or how to change a name you like. Please okay the names with me. There's also a list of names created by a few members that you can look at.
10. No descriptive sex and such. If you really must, do it through PMs; I don't want to come across posts much worse than kissing. I WILL delete them. It's just unnecessary. PG - 13, guys.
11. Two paragraphs MINIMUM. I understand off days, sick days, writers block, etc, but try to give everyone else some substance to reply to.
12. Grammar. [Try to: spell] things right, and use capitalization and punctuation correctly, please. Mistakes are expected, but I don't want to spend an hour deciphering your post.
13. Don't end your RP sample by saying it's bad, or that you can do better all the time. If you thinks it's bad, type a better one or change it later. We all have off days, but not every day!
14. [JOIN AS YOUR: OOC NAME]. I can't say it enough! No HP screen names!!! No numbers!!
15. NO MARY SUES OR GARY STUES. Make them have flaws and quirks. And, think about their position in society, please. A peasant isn't going to own several horses, and the Princess isn't going to get dirty. And if you have more than one character, make them DIFFERENT. Don't have two that are smart, pretty, funny, and headstrong; not everyone is like that. What about difficult to get along with, shy, or oppressed and used? That's still interesting. Greedy, vain, rude... If everyone's perfect, how people supposed to clash? Be original! Drunks, womanizers, shallow flirts, thieves, snobby nobles, etc are very welcome!
Spam, cursing, OOC, posting frequency, god-modding, killing, plot twists, time era, names, sex, post length, grammar, excuses, usernames, variety... I think I've covered it all.
FYI
You get three tries to meet the expectations of post length and code phrases. Please don't try out sixteen times.
You can have no more than two charries. Three if you talk to me about it, first.
JOIN AS YOUR OOC NAME. I will delete you and you'll have to join again, otherwise. NO NUMBERS.
Give me some way to contact you; the HP screen name you always use that I can PM you with; an email or something.

When registering, please use the OOC name you provided; you can change the name people see afterwards. Hopefully it'll help keep things fairly straight.

Join as your OOC NAME, not some phrase or code word you fancy.
I don't care about it. I want a name, so I can keep people straight a little bit better. I don't care if it's the name on your birth certificate or not, but it needs to be an actual name, not darkhorse513. I WILL DELETE YOU. It's a big pet peeve.
At this point, I don't care if I sound mean or rude; I'm lenient about most things, so I'd like it if people would humour me by just following this one simple request, for goodness sake.
