King Jastin,
I have the information you requested. It wasn't much of an effort to find - after all, posing as a knight has it's advantages. Back to business though - the jousting tournament may be delayed because of the weather. It has been said that a blizzard may hit within the next few days. If that is so, it means that I will have to stay here longer than we had planned. But it also means that I have more opportunities to gather dirty information about both of the Royal families residing in the castle.
An allied Prince is lodging at Court this very moment. Just send me the word and I shall look into this further.
As you had probably already known, the King is trying to marry his eldest daughter off to strengthen ties between countries.
Ecstatically barbaric don't you agree My Lord?
It seems she does not like the situation, and neither does her younger sister. As usual if you wish for me to inquire further, just give me the order and it shall be done. Perhaps there is a weakness in that part of the Royal family.
The people here are ordered to pay overly large taxes and there appears to be some peasants who wish to try and fight back. I have heard about them, and apparently it was a small miracle that I hadn't been robbed by them on the road on my way here.
Brigands My Lord? No.
Simple thieves.
Though the taxes are only rising because of it.
I have found out that there are usually two of them. They wear masks, one favors a sword, and the other, a bow. I'm assuming they are both male but...
I shall find out more My Lord.
Another weakness perhaps?
This is the kind of information you wished for I hope.
Please send your reply with the same bird - not that your bird is maimed, it's just mine is less conspicuous.
I hope my brother is well and that his scholar studies go well. Send him my good wishes.
Oh. And may I please have some more Shaay? I cannot stomach the tea here. Shukran.
Ma'assalama,
Ahmar Wadi.
